Training is being provided on S 390 with Z/OS covering the following modules:
- TSO (Time Sharing Option)
- JCL (Job Control Language)
- LSO (Large System Overview)
- MVS (Multiple Virtual Storage, an operating system)
- COBOL (Common Business Oriented Language)
- VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method)
- DB2 & SQL (Database)
- CICS (Customer Information Control System)

Besides these, there are three other modules covering SDLC, Testing
of Software and Z/OS overview.
The training is spread equally across theoretical and lab sessions. There are approximately about 150 hours of theory and 168 hours of lab. A theoretical session on three tools namely; FileAid, InfoMan & Endeavor is also part of the program.
The training also includes grooming of soft skills like communication, interview preparation, resume building etc. This is mainly to facilitate the candidates when they actually appear for interviews.
Entry Criteria:
- Graduates in any of the following streams – BE, BTech & MCA (Last 2 academic year pass outs)
- A minimum of 60% in the last passed out degree. (Students awaiting final year results can also apply)
