Culture encompasses all that a civilization stands for and Art is its means to address humanity. The Foundation therefore believes that promotion of Art and Culture helps multicultural understanding and conflict reduction, as it reaches out where ordinary communication fails. The Foundation has supported a number of initiatives in this area, particularly projects presenting and highlighting the everlasting progressive values of the Indian subcontinent which originate in the rich cultural heritage of the region.

- Peter Brook’s renowned theatrical production on the Indian epic Mahabharata.
- Preservation of ancient traditions like ancient Indian Musical instruments which are on the verge of extinction.
